Raleigh Mayor Cowell wields falling crime stats like a shield as federal agents arrive to treat NC capital like a crime scene. Jarring dissonance: City Hall says streets calm while DC votes with handcuffs, rendering local safety data irrelevant against a federal mandate that sees threat differently.

Most of us have no idea how bad it is inside ICE detention centers because they have kept it hidden. Then a truth teller shows up and says it plain.

The conditions are filthy. The treatment is inhumane. The abuse is Systematic and routine.

You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

The DOJ can just comply with the existing, active House Subpoena and release the files.

No vote necessary.
