It would be so easy for them to just be cool and decent rich guys who get laid occasionally but instead

This is what they do

The entitlement, my goodness

I guess they just don’t know how, which might have something to do with being rich and “successful”
Larry Summers getting advice on how to communicate with women, and Epstein advising him how to be emotionally manipulative, is both gross and pathetic www.nytimes.com/2025/11/12/u...

[email protected]” is just a hilariously 1997 email address
Meanwhile, here's an example of the horrendous things found in Hillary Clinton's emails—the only story worth covering for any serious news outlet in 2016, apparently.

This email is also regarding a child who suffered abuse from a grown man.

May the history of the Daily News, when it is written, reflect that upon unanimous ratification of the first contract in more than three decades, the next words uttered in the Zoom call were those of street reporter Kerry Burke: “Okay, I got a homicide. I gotta go.”

Admittedly this does put things into terrible perspective. .. … .
Ppl need to understand what's happening here.

The GOP response to the shutdown was: You're gonna cave, or we're going to hurt vulnerable people by shutting off SNAP. The Dems, unwilling to let that happen, caved.

Having watched that, the GOP is now saying: "Give us what we want on abortion or ..."
NEWS: Senate Republicans are threatening to block the extension of Affordable Care Act subsidies—unless Democrats agree to tougher abortion restrictions.

Please explain to me why these folks deserved to be stuck in the middle of the shutdown drama.
Sean Duffy threatens "action" against air traffic controllers who didn't come to work during the shutdown: "I'm concerned about their patriotism."

This is one of the pitches that was supposed to be a ball, but Andy Pages swung anyways.

Please don't worry. I speak for all stoners when I say I will not waste my precious and expensive gummies on your child
It’s that time of year again so I will say: no one is tricking your kids into taking weed gummies. This is a moral panic.

Reminer that this also significantly affects local businesses in darn near every community

If people don’t have food money they don’t buy food which means food sellers are in trouble

It’s like how Medicaid keeps local hospitals afloat
I want more people to care that SNAP benefits are being cut off on November 1. 40% of SNAP beneficiaries are children. This is callous and vile.

Ending the occupation of Palestine is actually a pro-Jewish and pro-humanity position, not advocacy for terrorism
United States Congressman calls for the deportation of all Muslims from the US.

All Jewish groups should join together to denounce this.

I live out in rural-ish northern California, and I saw a police blotter item wherein someone saw a couple guys in all black trying to jump his fence and decided they were “antifa” rather than just garden variety crooks

The invention is so far from reality
I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

Just generally, “separating them by race into vans” isn’t something you want to read about law enforcement.
Monstrous.

"federal agents detained nearly every resident of the 130-unit building—including children and babies—placing them in zip ties and separating them by race into vans for more than two hours early Tuesday morning."
Good reporting on the South Shore raid from South Side weekly here.

Confirms one thing I was told but didn't put in my own piece because I didn't have a second source and it seemed too insane: border agents segregated arrested residents by race

Inside CBS News, there is a mood of wary resignation as the long-awaited Bari Weiss era begins. “Trepidation,” in the words of one staffer.

Meanwhile, David Ellison's news philosophy is showing major cracks under scrutiny.
