OpenAI says it has proof that Deepseek used its work without permission to create something meant to undermine and destroy its product.

On behalf of all the authors whose novels and stories were taken as training data, oh no that must be so hard for you.

INFINITY TRAIN was an incredible kid's show and should be held in the same esteem as something like OVER THE GARDEN WALL or ADVENTURE TIME.

No, I don't need a bloody copilot for this document, thank you.

Writing is, in no small part, a tool for thinking. If you outsource that element to a machine that cannot think, you shouldn't be surprised if, at the end of the process, neither you nor your reader are any the wiser.

I've built a machine that can be Confidently Wrong. It can also make pictures that all look a bit the same, as well as make a video of you kissing any celebrity or person you know. In payment, I'd like to boil the world's oceans dry, & steal all literature. For some reason, my head is not on a spike

You’ll probably see this screenshot floating around a lot but it really was wonderful to see Lynch put a scene in Twin Peaks: The Return where he has his character literally stare at the camera and say that you should either support trans people or die. I needed to hear that in 2017

The Greeks absolutely had it right when they included a chorus in their plays. They knew audiences are dumbasses who need to be told “THIS MAN IS BAD. HE IS HERE AS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT *NOT* TO DO. WOE TO THE BUMPTIOUS FOOL WHO WOULD IDOLIZE HIM. YOU ARE NOT, NOR DO YOU WANT TO BE, ALEX DELARGE”

Zombie apocalypse as an infected survivor protecting the group. You have 1d12 for Muscles, Fingers, Voice and Brain. For obstacles you roll 1d4 if easy, 1d6 if hard and roll for your stat. If the stat > obstacle, you pass, otherwise, degrade one stat die (1d12 -> 1d10 ie), explain how that saves u
Here's a challenge for you - create a #TTRPG in just one single Bluesky post including setting, character creation and system. For example:

Cyberpunk Vampires. Roll 1d6+4 for STRENGTH, AGILITY, COMBAT+CHARISMA skill levels, roll =/> skill level on 2D6 for skill checks, 1D3 damage on hits
