And as ever, sharing the brilliant @ria.ie Confessio project where we can read St Patrick’s own words & his experience of being trafficked into Ireland as a child - sadly as relevant as ever today w so many children displaced due to violence, war & climate change. #speirgorm. confessio.ie

This absolutely jaw-dropping mosaic of doves drinking from a bronze bowl is so detailed that it almost seems like an oil painting. Found in Hadrian’s villa, the piece is thought to be a copy of the famous C2nd BCE mosaicist from Pergamum, Sosos.

Nature really outdid itself #thisdaylastyear with a stunning mirage / omega sunrise and a beautiful moonset. A sunrise mirage happens when the Sun's rays bend as they pass through layers of the Earth's atmosphere with different temperatures. Photos taken from Omeath, Co. Louth, Ireland.

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this.

Smashed records.
