US House of Representatives Financial Services Committee Chair French Hill is right on the money. Help Ukraine by using frozen Russian state assets before US taxpayers. Right thing to do morally, legally, and economically. President Trump should act now! hill.house.gov/news/documen...

My 2 cents is the distributed sovereignty of the American system will probably be our saving grace. We are 50 States joined to create one national government - not One National Government that created 50 States. States have a lot of power to muck up the works.

TERRORISM EXPERT HERE:

This statement is a clear example of what is known as “State Terrorism”: When the dictatorship will order all instruments of its state security & intelligence apparatus against its own citizens to terrorize the population.

Venezuela is ~1500 miles from the US. These boats have a range of 20-40% that distance.

Call this what it is: wanton killing, unsupported by law and unjustified by any principles of just war.

The inept Trump administration is too stupid to stop creating evidence that can be used to show the court that the indictment of James Comey was not because he was guilty of any crime, but so the vengeful Donald Trump could humiliate him and make him suffer.

Our Founders rebelled against what happened in that apartment complex 2 nights ago in Chicago. Their rebellion led to our founding. Our Founders would be reaching for their muskets right now.

But most Americans today? Bored, distracted, can’t be bothered, big weekend coming up.

This tinpot tyrant thinks he can act as judge and jury, handing out anticipatory prison sentences for people who might engage in clearly constitutional behavior (as ruled by the Supreme Court).

So Mike Johnson just told members of the House to stay home until 10/14.

He *really* doesn’t want to swear in Grijalva and face that vote on the Epstein files.

This *also* means the government will be shut down for another ten days at least.

This, 💯%. And it's not merely messaging—it's just simple, discernible fact. The best messaging is messaging that reminds people of what is true and known to be true.

The entire 2024 presidential campaign should have been about this.

Very Trump-era story.
1. The sword has no meaning for Charles, but matters for the Eisenhower Museum.
2. Illegal for the museum to give away US property!
3. Trump makes no distinction between personal/public property.
4. The person who did the right thing was fired.

Government shutdowns are bad and avoidable. This Republican administration is doing nothing constructive to end it and using it as an excuse to fire federal workers is wrong and illegal. Trump’s authoritarianism must be stopped now by Congress.
