I am haunted by the ghosts of Iraq and Afghanistan. Those military operations initially went flawlessly but the problem was in trillions of $ spent, thousands of American lives, decades of lost opportunity. Americans have zero appetite for more nation building, endless quagmires.

Former Special Counsel, Jack Smith, explicitly states:

"President Trump was by a large measure the most culpable and most responsible person in this conspiracy. These crimes were committed for his benefit. The attack that happened at the Capitol, part of this case, does not happen without him."

Five years ago today, the United States Capitol was attacked in a violent insurrection incited by the President of the United States for one purpose: to overturn a free and fair election and cling to power in clear violation of the Constitution.

Five years ago today, Donald Trump urged his supporters to attack Congress and the Capitol over a proven lie. More than 140 police officers were injured.

Trump then pardoned the attackers.

He betrayed his oath and his country, and we won't ever forget it.

Trump tells the world that this is all a law-enforcement, not military exercise. He then tells the Senate law-enforcement oversight committee that it's a military, not a law-enforcement matter. He can't even keep his lies straight.

Secretary Rubio basically said the use of military force would not occur without first coming to Congress to get authorization.

He needs to explain why he straight up lied to Congress.

Telling oil companies before you tell congress and the press lmao can you make it more obvious what this is about
Reporter: Did you speak with the oil companies before the operation? Did you tip them off?

Trump: Before and after. They want to go in and they’re going to do a great job.

The list of this administration's non-compliance/law-breaking of court orders and any rule of law should be posted and reposted every day, so we can't forget. A chart that shows the growth in criminal actions should appear in the corner of every newscast, substack, YouTube, etc. Every day.

So is it really possible the Trump regime had no real plan for Venezuela beyond snatching Maduro? That like Putin in Ukraine they thought Caracas would fall in three days? That Trump just imagined himself in charge? That its already FUBARed?
