Angela Rayner accidentally pays less tax than she should have, resigns, and the media gives her hell.

Nigel Farage deliberately pays less tax than he should have, and the media gives him a free pass.

That, right there, is the problem.

'Hypocrite' Nigel Farage didn't pay £44k stamp duty then blasted Angela Rayner
Last year Nigel Farage announced he had bought a house in Clacton, Essex, but in fact it was his partner Laure Ferrari, 46, who shelled out almost £900,000 for the property

It's very unusual for someone to pay the wrong amount of stamp duty when they're receiving tax advice.

There are probably three possibilities:

(1) Ms Rayner got the law wrong
(2) She didn't take the right advice
(3) She didn't disclose all the facts to the law firm.

A whopping 137 objections (including mine) were submitted in response to #HS2's planning application to send HGVs and over 2,000 other vehicle movements through the centre of #Wendover. This application should have been seen off at the pre-planning application advice phase last year.

Nothing to do with corporate welfare, contracts for cronies, Govt paying higher energy bills, HMRC not collecting £500bn since 2010, Tory legacy.

The IHT farming debacle is a reminder that you can "prove" anything using averages if you have no interest in the underlying truth of the situation.

Example: A billionaire and 999 poor people in a room. On average, each person is a millionaire. The fact 999 aren't is irrelevant if you're dishonest.
