The media coverage of the Biden administration’s FEMA response to Hurricane Helene was FERAL. Now another tragic disaster has struck, this time under Trump, and no one seems to care that his head of FEMA is barricaded in his office. I know standards are different, but what gives, people?

The ICE camps are concentration camps. They should be called concentration camps.
It is, of course, important to distinguish between concentration camps and death camps, but also, I am not sure we will know when or if we undergo the transition from concentration camps into death camps.

This is precisely it. Streeting and his allies believe that allowing a child to continue to be trans is ‘harm’ because they see being trans as inherently bad. Conversely they see conversion therapy, starting with denial of medication, as ‘good’ because it might ‘save’ someone from being trans.
The scandal of the Cass Report is that the only harm was the speculation that an affirmed trans child might develop into a healthy trans adult.
These medications are safe in all other patients because we know there are no physical ill effects. Being trans at all is what they see as harm.
