Well I guess based on the people I follow, I like podcasts, Star Trek, old PC games and Japan. And stationery. 🇯🇵
Pretty good history of the first transatlantic telegraph cable. Fascinating, I'd watch this movie.

Quentin Wilson died. I always liked him on the old school Top Gear, when it was actually about cars. And Fifth Gear, of course.

All our cultural items like the internet, music, movies etc would disappear tomorrow due to an IT crisis. Yet we can still see the work of some dude who used his finger to create art on a cave wall 4,000 years ago. I don't think we've come as far as we think we have.

Why is it that the majority of Netflix films have an air of unreality about them? The titles *sound* like movies but are bland and generic, and the thumbnails have recognizable faces but with dead eyes. Like simulations of films...

Following Prince Andrew’s titles being removed, Prince Edward becomes the Duke Of York. Basically, it all shifts up one. For instance, I’m now my next door neighbour, Pauline Cathcart.

@notesnook.com Hi team. I noticed that biometric protection was removed from the free plan. I understand why, but was there any warning of this? I feel like there should have been a notification that protection was going to be removed.

It's a bit outrageous that notesnook removed the password protection from their app to put it behind the paywall without notice. I didn't see any notification that 'your protected notes will no longer be protected'.

I've only recently watch the 2016 movie Sing, and I really liked it. It's got a lot of heart.

My friend only eats honey for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It sounds like it should be simple but she really makes a miel of it.

Just seen an ad for a cheap online shop offering 1kg of sausages for 0 yen. What a revolting concept.

If Levar Burton taught me anything growing up it's... well, always be on the lookout for a dilithium build up in the warp coils

But if he taught me TWO things, it's find out what books are banned, go to your local library, check it out and read it

Banned books are almost like a summer reading list

As much as I like Louis Theroux as a documentary maker and an interviewee, I don't really rate his more formal interview technique on his podcast.

The TV shows they make in the 60s were absolute bangers weren't they. Star Trek, Thunderbirds, Man from UNCLE, The Avengers (the British ones), etc
