Brigands & Breadknives is a very fun “cozy” fantasy book, and I think people should read it (after Legends & Lattes, and Bookshops & Bonedust).
I am begging people to take a moment to attempt to understand the levers that *do exist* and *do not exist* for municipal/state government to pull in response to ICE activity. I'm seeing some dangerously uninformed takes about who can do what and who can be blamed for different things.

I don’t think people should be allowed to be hot until they are at least 30. Being hot younger than that either goes to your head, or puts you at risk, or both. Either way, it’s bad for your development.

I've had some people ask me about my Chicken-Fried Seitan, and I'm too lazy to add it to my neglected recipe site, so here it is in a doc. It's a lot of work, and you need a food scale because I ain't no god damn son of a bitch, but it's well worth the investment. Love on a plate.

The Cure is one of those bands where any cover done by competent musicians is going to be good, and some are just fantastic.
I’ve often called this song—“Just Like Heaven”—the finest single of the 80s and meant it. This cover’s arrangement only confirms it for me 💜🔥
