There's a feeling that I'm sick of. And its that I'm not allowed to stop. Not allowed to break down. Not allowed to recover. I have to keep holding myself together and keep up with everything else. Can't complain, can't falter because there's nothing obviously wrong with me.

Conventions, if you use AI do not be surprised if creators turn down your invitations to be guests or even to be on panels.
Do not use tools trained on stolen work from creators and then tell them you want to honor or uplift them - that’s not what you’re doing. You’re stealing and being lazy.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Canada Post is a service. Like other govt or quasi-govt services, it is not supposed to turn a profit. It needs to be efficient, but so do healthcare, the military, food inspection, schools, and other govt services. We subsidize it because people, businesses & remote communities rely on it. #cdnpoli
