Sunday gratitude: I made a good dinner quiche last night that's going to feed me this week. Had a Friday workout with my trainer to work on core, balance, and hips, so I have sore things I didn't know existed, but I loved it. Our weather is stunning, and I have only two days of work this week.

I didn't realize that was Tom Brady doing color on the Packers-Bears game. I just heard the voice and thought it was odd they gave a marquee game a back-bencher for the broadcast.

Sunday gratitude: I had a good workout with a new trainer. It was simple stuff that was hard to grasp, which is what I wanted. I woke the next day with very tired hamstrings and hip flexors, which is also what I wanted. I have slept well. I have eaten well. Given everything, I'm kind of happy.

Post-workout trip to get fresh stuff for gumbo tonight, and I was put all out of sorts by the store playing Bing Crosby's White Christmas followed by Will Smith's Wild Wild West. I kind of went home confused and unsure if I had bought everything I need.

Sunday gratitude. I got good rest this weekend and set myself up for the work week, I think. I am carrying a lot of stress, which I can feel in my gut and my muscles, so my priority for the next four days is stretching and relaxing. Personal training starts Friday, hoping for good rest before then.
