Is It Literary Theft?: Looking at Writing in R.F. Kuang’s “Yellowface”
I read R.F. Kuang’s Yellowface over the summer, with the intention of adding it to my “Lost Voices in American Literature” course. After reading it, I was very interested in the discussion that would arise when we finally discussed the book in class. I thought, on the first couple of days, that students wouldn’t say much and that we just look at the way that June Hayward steals Athena Liu’s manuscript and the impact of social media on our lives.

All of these new rulings don’t just affect today, they rewrite precedent. Trump still has three years left, and whatever expanded powers the Court hands him now will automatically pass to the next president as well.

This is the MOST CORRUPT SCOTUS EVER IN U.S. HISTORY.

For a couple of years now, I've been fascinated with what's happening at small liberal arts colleges, which are running out of money for reasons unrelated to Trump funding cuts. Businessweek let me go deep on the problems, and one college that's trying to blaze a new trail.
Why a College Fighting for Survival Is Slashing Econ and Physics Majors
At Albright in Pennsylvania, the new president is cutting programs, selling art and real estate, and vowing not to hire anyone with tenure. Is this the way forward for liberal arts colleges?

He’s just reracking what he’s been saying about tariffs since at least the 1990s. He’s just old and cognitively decrepit now so his needle is stuck and he just keeps repeating the same things again and again.
The way Trump talks about the problems he caused by unilaterally imposing tariffs is fairly insane, even by his standards.

When it comes to government hand-outs these farmers and corporations don't see anything wrong with being subsidized, but let it be you or your neighbor; not only will they complain but they will vote a sociopath into office.
