So apparently stopping at the right place on the platform, running on a regular schedule, and having the roll signs and the platform signs giving correct information is not part of the test, because they still keep making mistakes with these.

And that illustrates a big problem with this scheme: Toronto has thousands of named parks, neighbourhoods, etc. and most people don't know most outside their area. Few people have a solid grasp of where Cedarvale is but everyone knows that Eglinton West is on the west side along Eglinton.

Dunno - not terribly familiar with the area. But lack of a good name didn't stop them from coming up with some of the other names on those two lines.

When the Eglinton Crosstown LRT opens as Line 5, Eglinton West subway station will be renamed because Metrolinx hates having two stations named after the same thing (Eglinton/Eglinton West).

So why aren't they doing the same to Finch West station when that LRT opens as Line 6?
