This "gaming generation gap" is sending me.

Just saw a youtube video about how "Metroid is actually a really good game!" like it didn't spawn a major franchise.

We're weeks way from "Tetris is a hidden gem. This may look like a mobile game but this was actually sold in stores."

Unknown technical problem caused a dip in traffic levels to various Meta services (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp) beginning at 17:50 UTC (12:50pm ET).

These services did not go down globally, but suffered a degradation of service for a significant portion of their users.

There are some (mostly academics and old fashioned telcos) that say the Internet isn't secure, badly designed, outdated, flawed and unfit for the future. The SCION project says it can do better. At #DENOG16 its presentation showed it does worse pretalx.com/denog16/talk...
