If you still post on twitter in any capacity I am asking you loudly at this time, what the fuck is the actual benefit.
Heads up to artists still using Twitter- Twitter is now adding an "Edit image" button under all images posted on the site that allows everyone to feed it into genAI and modify it as they wish with a prompt

The recently released #CDE 2.5.3 runs on #XLibre.

That may bring back some memories of good times, tears shed, or other sentiments… Yes, we are almost at the end of 2025, and CDE is still working.

I love that living in the “freest country in the history of the world” means you have to live under a system of nonstop surveillance and data collection by corporations that would make agents of the East German Stasi cum.

I’m moving away from Windows because of Microsoft valuing useless AI bullshit over *creating a decent OS that actually works*

Your complete obsession with agentic AI malware is not inspiring any confidence either. You have the opportunity to be better here and you choose this instead.

Ever since Microsoft became a controlling element on the Linux Foundation board “Linux” has become everything I hated about Windows when I switched 22 years ago. I’m at the point of walking away.
As 2025 comes to a close, we are celebrating the people and projects advancing open collaboration.

Thank you to our global community for an impactful year.

If AI were half as useful as big tech claims they wouldn't need to advertise it so heavily.

People will adopt good products without needing to be told to do so. Mostly because positive word of mouth.

That isn't happening with AI for good reason. It simply isn't useful.

while KOSA passed the subcommittee, there is still the full committee meeting it needs to go through before being voted on by the Senate/House

support is more split on it than you'd think, we just need to pull away enough votes to block it. CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES!
