On the one hand as someone who has been subject to horrifying abuse, I do not particularly want to be around any of my abusers.
On the other, I believe that they need to be given the tools to fix their shit and be better, and that takes more than just therapy. You need community accountability.

I think a lot about how those people are usually completely barred from community afterwards and how that destroys any hope of those persons ever really improving once isolated and how people's punitive lust for justice-flavored revenge often prevents or discourages positive change.
