This is a wildly reckless policy decision that will increase the number of children dying, admitted to hospitals with life threatening diseases, and with life altering complications.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act is a law, passed by Congress on November 19 with an overwhelming vote. Complying with it was not optional. The Department of Justice did not comply.

The expiration of ACA subsidies will have "ripple effects," warns @kff.org Exec VP of Health Policy Larry Levitt. "There is years and years and years of research showing that if you don't have insurance...your household finances will be worse, and in fact, you are likely to die sooner." #Velshi
Expiration of ACA subsidies will have ‘ripple effects’ in health care and economy
Since Congress allowed the Affordable Care Act subsidies to lapse at the end of 2025, millions of Americans are starting off the new year with a significantly higher health insurance bill. Some are opting to just go without insurance at all. KFF’s Executive Vice President of Health Policy Larry Levitt tells Ali Velshi that the “combined loss” of the subsidies and Medicaid cuts will have “ripple effects throughout the system.” Levitt adds, “If you increase the number of non-paying patients, people who are uninsured, it's just going to make the numbers that much harder to work for you.”

Bombing another country and kidnapping its leader would also be wrong with Congressional approval. The outrage, and call for impeachment, should be over the evil and illegal outcome not merely the failure to follow the prescribed process.

Trump has frozen all childcare payments to the entire state of Minnesota due to “fraud”.

He’s going to punish innocent children to get back at Walz and blue voters.

He doesn’t care about fraud.

He’s been pardoning convicted fraudsters since he took office.

Acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that the step is in response to “blatant fraud that appears to be rampant in Minnesota and across the country.”

Billionaires have set up this game where they have everything, while workers compete for the scraps.

But what if we stopped competing. What if we worked as a team and changed the game so everyone has what they need.

That’s where the culture wars come in handy. Distract people with fear so that they tolerate the money grab from tax policies that favor the wealthy and deregulation of consumer protections.
America has 925 billionaires as of this year. Collectively they have a record $6.9 trillion in wealth.

The bottom 50% of Americans control $4.2 trillion in wealth.

When 925 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.
