How right Rob Reiner was/is. Another force of good leaves our world whilst the most evil remain to continue deliberately destroying everything around us. It’s infuriating and devastating.

Not sure how many Albertans want this plan... but I don't recall the UCP campaigning on "Let's Make Charities Great Again"

Or stating they were going to privatize HC and Education to for-profits and abandon any govt social safety net...

A tonne of mask articles out on UK media this morning.

Must be bad there.

And likely reflects North Americas near future.

This is the best mask article in the bunch. www.independent.co.uk/news/health/...

No surprise: new analysis shows that heat pumps can deliver excellent performance even in older buildings with no meaningful correlation between building age & heat pump efficiency.

This is in line with my own experience of having a heat pump in a 1880 Victorian home with only modest insulation.

Found a recall petition to sign on my way home from the wedding.
Ran up to them in my sparkly dress, said “I dressed up for this, let’s get rid of this fucker.”
She laughed and said that was the best comment all day.

Northern BC has no bus or functioning train (VIA rail is limited & ++ unpredictable long delays). We cannot reliably get to any town for appointments or day2day needs. I just took the train from Montreal to Ottawa, it was cheap, effective & fast enough. Why not start where the gaps are?

How is this “conservative” in any way???: destroying a functional system, replacing it with a byzantine bureaucracy, and then hiding the evidence of the disaster they created! They are putting politics ahead of patient safety.

That useless "Act" doesn't even police whether the money designated for healthcare is even spent on healthcare by the provinces. In Alberta's case the money is diverted. What good is an "Act" if it isn't enforced?
The Canada Health Act is federal and is *supposed* to ensure that provinces are meeting the requirements for universal health care (in order to get funding transfers)
