Rick Carlisle on Tyrese Haliburton, who finished with four points on 0-for-6 shooting in 34 minutes where he looked very hampered by a calf issue: "He's not 100%. It's pretty clear. But I don't think he's gonna miss the next game."

There are way more important things happening but A Little Blood and Dancing turns 2 today. Far as I can tell it’s still the only novel featuring a Mitsubishi Debonair, an epigraph from Rich Boy, & a giraffe named Cleopatra. Appreciate yall who bought the book, told a friend, liked a post, anything.

Games like these where I roll my eyes at the focus on the ratings (unless you're someone who HAS to be concerned w them). The basketball is good. If I'm the only one fortunate enough to be watching this, fine.

🫡 to the Nuggets. The fact that they could've absolutely won this series with their lack of depth and the injuries to key guys is wildly impressive. Massive failure by their former front office in not being able to acquire literally one more rotation player.
Don't let today's result overshadow what an incredible effort this series was by Denver. Gave OKC a way better series than they had any right to give. Heads should be held extremely high.
