Also, no, generally as usually if I understand correctly newton is treated homophobically because he was celibate and probably autistic who knows, but no, somebody being interpersonally awkward or rude isn't in any way similar to musk

Given how bad musk is I think very few actual non Nazis ever can come close, so, no

Comparing Newton to pretengineer Pedo ally Musk is nuts.

Utter shite. So Musk shouldn't be judged on character, but on his 'accomplishments': not a scientist, not an engineer, just a rich businessman. Is that the criteria now, or is Nurse just shitting his pants over booting him out? Will the UK ever stop heading its institutions by scared old men?

Now, we tackle in turn the issues we outlined in the abstract:

First, the displacement of human participants, tracing the history of technologies to recruit real people, we end up forgetting the whole point: gathering — not fabricating! — human data. More at section 3: doi.org/10.31234/osf...

Seems to run immediately afoul ethics rules for simulated children and prisoners, etc… where the bar is higher.

"observational data without consent" would be unintelligible in an IRB regulatory context

No prob! I am sure I did an okay job and some people are left out, but I'm sure you've done a great job indeed collecting them up. ☺️

I have to say I've never seen anything like this in 40+ years in the business. It's become unquestionable orthodoxy overnight, total hive mind underpinned by execs realizing that AI frees them from ever having to make excuses for cutting staff.

When you are asked to pick a side, and a threat of coercion hangs over your decision... well, think long and hard about what the decision actually is, what you are actually being asked to do.

Comparing them to 10 billion men, we find on average they are better 🫡

And we're supposed to find it morally acceptable to cheat in those ways, too:

"Everyone else does it. Why can't you?"

If we don't go along, we will often face social pressure and isolation:

"Do you think you're better than everyone else?"

I don't think the moral problem here comes from autism.

the dominant ideology is "genocidal white supremacist capitalism"(but i repeat myself), so it stands to reason they (neurocasuals and their lickspittles) would engage in simple eugenics as a hobby and call it journalism/science/education/etc.

nothing new, really
