My head is exploding from all this hand-wringing about America's supposedly sudden ill behavior.

The moral standing of the US is in question FOR THE FIRST TIME IN DECADES?!!! On what planet have you been fucking living?

Or does it only matter to you people when we fuck over other rich countries?

Summer Lee has consistently been on the right side of history.
It's always been abolish ICE.

For the first time, more Americans support abolishing ICE than oppose it. But Republicans are proposing hundreds of millions in funding for this lawless agency.

I'll oppose this bill. We cannot give more money to an agency responsible for terrorizing our communities.

Seeing some posts and I think it's important that we discuss just how FAR Trump is pushing things, I do. The problem is that while he may be an extreme he's not as extreme in comparison as many like to think and if we ignore the history and build up to this point we are never fully getting out of it

This is the woman who went undercover with the "woke left" for her previous book. Now she's done the same with the anti-Zionist left in France, seeking to expose "their hate for Jews, or rather Zionists, to use their term". Yes, good journalism is when you equate two completely different things.
An undercover reporter joined France’s anti-Israel movement. Here’s what she found

So come on and let's pour one out for that righteous American might that upheld the glorious post-WWII world order.

Guatemala, I can't hear you?! Iran? Palestine? Dominican Republic? Chile? DRC? Nicaragua? Angola? Viet-fucking-nam?! Come on guys, it's like a graveyard out here!
"...the American order is over because the United States has decided that it no longer wishes to play its historically unprecedented role of providing global security. The American might that upheld the world order of the past 80 years will now be used instead to destroy it."

America vs. the World

Good time threatened.
I work with state parties every single day. There are only a handful of national leaders who actually raise real money for the year organizing state parties do--Ken Martin (dnc chair), Simon Rosenberg (Hopium), Sen. Warren and Actblue. Come for Simon and you come for all of us.
I'm not interested in arguing with the good people of Minnesota, on the front lines, doing the hard work of protecting our democracy. I've worked hard to bring your bravery and courage to the world in recent weeks on Hopium.

But attacks like this are false, defamatory, and need to end. 1/

While UNRWA continues working in Gaza, its shelter materials for hundreds of thousands of people have been stuck outside Gaza for months because of Israeli restrictions.

This must stop. Aid must be allowed in at scale.

You're paying for this.

Instead of helping your mom get cancer treatment, your tax dollars are being used to terrorize communities.

This is such a classic US political take: the "anti-woke" folks aren't hard-right, they're moderates! Thinking that human rights are negotiable and inequality is a law of nature is the reasonable centrist position!
Politico:

"We've got the world's most credulous reporter here to tell you that a university sponsored by billionaires whose anti-trans faculty are at the cutting edge of 18th-century race science wasn't a hard-right project."
