the tabernacle has not left my mind. Y'all know how we used to burn sacrifices and things as atonement for sins right? Well what happens when things burn? There's ashes left over. So wallowing in your sins after you've repented is kind of like... burning your offering and then sitting in the ashes.

i love love love being a writer because you go to look up things like "what did the tabernacle look like" and then you end up in a deep dive on the symbolism of the tabernacle and how it all relates back to Jesus and then you're just sat there in absolute awe of how aweSOME our God is.

A fungus photo a day: I stopped by that special patch of waxcaps/hygrocybes yesterday and saw these young ones. They start out dark red and turn apricot when full-grown. Their caps become viscous/slimy when wet, stipes are translucent pearl-colored. #fungifriends #fungi #mycology #naturephotography
