It feels like I've run out of things to say about the Democrats.
When we're almost a full year into this and they're still voting for Trump's nominees, I'm not sure how you can make the case that the party is salvageable.

This time around they refuse to do the fire/resign carousel to look better organized but everyone looks and acts like they got a Make A Wish granted to run a department for a day.

sometimes if you’re a good person your faith is what helps you be a better person

my philosophy about Catholicism - as a queer person and a woman and just like a person who thinks a lot about systems of power in this mess of a country in which I live - is that no institution gets better if all the good people leave, AND ALSO no one ever has to stay in a place they were harmed
