It feels like I've run out of things to say about the Democrats.
When we're almost a full year into this and they're still voting for Trump's nominees, I'm not sure how you can make the case that the party is salvageable.

Sorry to always repeat this, but it’s important: my trans kid saw multiple specialists +had therapy for over a year before receiving any gender-affirming care. My short cis child had hormones/puberty blockers aggressively pushed on him by drs starting at age 5 bc they were concerned about his height

We are parents of a trans kid and our family takes this very, very personally. If you intentionally make life harder for our beloved daughter, it’s EXTREMELY hard to think of you as an ally, to say the least. @amyklobuchar.com - you still send us requests for money, while hurting our kid. cis people on the skyline are genuinely more distressed by karoline leavitt’s lip fillers than the fact that congress just said, “what we should do is put any doctor or pharmacist in prison who gives lifesaving medical care to this specific kind of child we find gross.”
Bluesky tonight is neatly divided between trans people and family members appropriately angry and freaking out and everyone else who has barely noticed.
