I feel like that family is moving fast because they now time is extremely limited...like not even a full term. Take the money and run.
In Donald Trump’s second term, developments came thick and fast, many of them involving crypto, foreign money, or both. @johncassidysays.bsky.social takes stock of the President’s self-enrichment in 2025.

I've stopped hating some other people just so I could reallocate my hate resources more appropriately.
Thoughts on how to hate this treasonous motherfucker more?

Asking for a friend.

People roll their eyes when I say I'm on Tidal. There's a reason Prince chose to be exclusive with Tidal.
"If everyone who streamed All Hell on Spotify had done so using Tidal instead, we would have received an extra £31,847.38, which would double the amount we made from streaming of the album in this time period. Or if everyone used Apple Music it would have been £12,331 more."

I hate them all.
What a parade of sociopaths.
Vance: If you look at every affordability crisis confronting the American people today, it is traceable directly to a problem caused by Joe Biden and congressional Democrats. We had 20 million illegal aliens in this country taking homes that ought by right go to American citizens.

Do we wait for the food to cool on the counter (and risk harmful bacteria proliferating)? Or do we rush it to the fridge, potentially warming everything inside? There’s a universal — and easy — answer to a common kitchen predicament. nyti.ms/4prwMJu

I mean...i wish I had this in my curriculum
Once a HS social studies teacher was inexplicably forced to do a day of sex ed and didn’t know what to do, so he told us about a “timekeeper,” who is someone at a bar who you don’t think is attractive enough to hook up with and when you’ve drunk enough for them to be attractive, you should go home.
What’s the most significant advice you received from a teacher?

I had a Geology prof who always said “have strong opinions, loosely held”

Be passionate, assess alternatives with conviction, take sides. But don’t fall so in love with your opinions that you can’t change them with better data.

I use this comment with absolute abandon at work.
New hip insult you'll be hearing everywhere soon:
"Was this made by Al?"

Especially effective when mentioned while watching a film (especially a big budget one) or listening to the new release of a song (preferably by a big pop star).

Yeah. My biggest issue with Target is the lack of smiling employees being forced to get in my business.
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.
Target is now requiring its employees to smile more
As the holiday season fast approaches, Target is urging its employees to add a little more “jolly” to their work routine.

Greene: "I will praise Nancy Pelosi. She had an incredible career for her party. I served under her speakership in my first term in Congress and I'm very impressed at her ability to get things done. I wish we could get things done for our party like Nancy Pelosi was able to deliver for her party."

Is this when I say "don't threaten me with a good time."?
Mike Johnson: "Imagine a scenario where they were in charge and they didn't have the filibuster. We would have nationalized elections, they would infringe on our 2A rights, they'd pack the Supreme Court, and they'd make Puerto Rico and DC states."

A scam run by multiple mafia families and the only person we've seen is Chauncey? Hmmm.
From @theathletic.com: Chauncey Billups was this force of positivity, wrapped in a smile, who paraded around with unrivaled confidence, our columnist writes. "I believed in him. I trusted him. I respected him. And if the allegations are proven, I was wrong."
Chauncey Billups fooled me, too, it appears. Why his shocking arrest cuts so deep
The somber image of Billups at his hearing is in stark contrast to who he appeared to be during his time as coach in Portland.
