i didn't get anything from anyone yesterday.
although gifts were becoming less and less frequent as i aged, i was hoping to get literally anything.. $20? a gas/gift card..? nah.

does a person actually enjoy being around you if they call themselves a friend but never seek you out when needing companionship? i seem to be a last resort, an afterthought when the go-to list of connections is unavailable; a list i thought i was on, but no.
