We absolutely need universal basic income as a secure floor below which no one can fall and everyone can build from. It should not be normalized for people to seek 2nd, 3rd, and 4th jobs in order to make enough money to survive or have a backup plan in case of unexpected job and income loss.

The Supreme Court, in the middle of giving TACO win after win after win, dealt a blow to Project 2025 by denying that disgusting Kim Davis's petition to revisit same-sex marriage. Good. I hope she fades into obscurity, loses her job and benefits, and lives out her days alone in isolation. Fuck her.
