Markets may be getting this morning's Canadian GDP report wrong: it was mostly boosted by tariff front-running effects, and final domestic demand contracted. A cut at next week's BoC meeting looks unlikely (and may land in the autumn), but there's really no good reason to be bidding the loonie up...
