As I mention in thread, small cheap games like this aren't expected to do big numbers but exist to be the second item in the cart. Which makes me delighted that this one is doing surprisingly well! Definitely more interest here than in last year's word game!

I was in the industry of educational assessment for years. To me, what you are seeing with this is:
1. The test results having too much bearing - probably on funding of either the school, dept, or teacher
2. Teacher teaching to the test

The emphasis is thus on test scores, not actual learning.

So excited to have signed my first board game deal!
Long time coming for Enemy Lines. Its 🎲✂️ journey began around 2006. Lots of playtesting and iterating over the years to finally get to this point. Not my first design, but the first that felt complete.

This bill would literally ban our upcoming expansion, Ahu Tiiko (which depicts trans individuals among other queer bodies), but might even include our core RPG, which also depicts same sex couples and non-binary individuals.

Michigan lawmakers have introduced a bill prohibiting the any "depiction or description" of trans people or trans existence online, including it in a bill banning "pornographic" material

The bill would completely erase trans people online, equating them with porn.

The news is just… I cannot… Sigh. After exiting a harsh bit of depression and anxiety the past two weeks, I may need to ignore most news for a bit. It is overwhelming - the amount of hate, persecution, vitriol, and fear.
