Good question.

I REMEMBER.

In 1981, nearly 100% of people with AIDS died, often rapidly.
I remember weeping.
I remember Ronald Reagan's refusal to say "AIDS".
I remember the brave patients, loving caregivers, and the defiant power of ACT-UP.
And finally the miracle of modern therapy.

Rise up for World AIDS day.
Commemorating #WorldAIDSday is an act of defiance against ideology driven policies that will end our progress to end the epidemic.

Keep in mind most provinces don’t test much anymore and 10s of 1000s of people are sick and not seeking out testing because they think they have the flu or allergies.

Seems society can only learn by fire. The problem is, by the time people care, the most vulnerable will have already been burned.

Your periodic reminder that mRNA vaccines are a scientific and public health game-changer. Those that have been approved have passed stringent efficacy and safety checks. They protect you and your child against potentially fatal diseases. You may, however, get a sore arm.

This isn't abstract. Ending vaccine mandates will kill children. Any one who is trying to do this should be removed from office immediately.

Companies deliberately double dip, selling products that cause the problem and the treatment of it. A self-sustaining profit model that thrives on silence, shame, and regulatory gaps. The blueprint of late-stage capitalism. A systemic pattern that replicates across nearly every industry. Enough!

I'm working on a program/exhibit focused on teaching the Holocaust through a justice-centered, historically grounded lens. I want to highlight marginalized groups often left out of the dominant narrative like disabled, Romani, and queer communities. Tips, resources, or guidance? TIA

The girls they raped have been threatened, silenced, ignored, disrespected and forced to watch one of their abusers go on to become President, twice, even with multiple felony convictions to his name, and an insurrection under his belt.
