3 days ago RFK Jr. told the CDC to stop recommending water fluoridation, claiming it was a neurotoxin (this is a lie).

Turns out he also just eliminated the CDC’s entire Lead Program, and now lead poisoned children in Milwaukee are just on their own. Lead IS a neurotoxin and harms brain development
CDC denies help for lead poisoning in Milwaukee schools due to layoffs
The CDC rejected a request for help "due to the complete loss" of their lead poisoning experts.

Chicago crowd tonight was *incredible*. Important for everyone to be spending time with each other right how. It may not feel like it right now, but we’re gonna win.
Went with my son to @chrislhayes.bsky.social book event tonight (Chicago). It felt like a social movement was born, and he led it. People just stood up and clapped forever. When he said, "Don't give up," I falsely denied having tears in my eyes. Thank you. Can't wait to read THE SIRENS' CALL.

Oooof, this list breaks my heart. Willfully criminal, evil behavior by Rubio and Musk’s team.
Rubio terminated 5800 USAID contracts – more than 90% of its foreign aid programs – in defiance of the courts.

Here’s a list of just some of the lifesaving awards that were terminated. Nearly all were Congressionally mandated. They’ve saved millions of lives. 🧵

Let's talk about the extraordinary cost of what DOGE is doing, which tallies to an amount that cannot be represented by money:
1) ruining US credibility with foreign nations
2) ruining US credibility with contractors
3) killing people by suddenly removing life-saving medication and food supplies

DOGE recommended firing workers at:

-FDA, which oversees Neuralink

-FAA, which oversees SpaceX

-USAID, which probed Starlink

-CFPB, which oversees Tesla's financing arm and a potential payment platform on X.

"Conflict of interest" is a severe understatement.

Let me speak to the DOGE audit language. Many people who work in both the Treasury and specifically the IRS are CPAs. Most audit firms hire CPAs. A 19yo coder has absolutely no idea how to accurately identify waste or fraud. Calling what DOGE is doing as a audit, is a flat out lie.
