So important. What they say is not the story. That is never the story. What happened is the story. Write what happened.

Why anyone dignifies the Coalition with the pretence that they have the slightest clue what they want or what they're talking about is a complete mystery. Labor is a craven capitulation machine, but the Coalition make One Nation look coherent and principled.
Politicising Bondi backfires for Liberals who got what they asked for
Federal Liberals are discovering the price of having been so brazen in their politicisation of the Bondi terror attack and many appear to have buyers' remorse.

I haven’t (and most likely won’t) watch the recently released video but I swear I can hear that “fucking bitch” in my head clear as day. The snarling hate and disgust. Every woman has heard it.

Absolutely on point, when the only factual truth coming from the newspaper is the cartoonist then Aus media are really in trouble.
The fact that the Israel Lobby, zionists and Coalition are calling Cathy Wilcox antisemitic and demanding her sacking just confirms how right this is.

It seems likely that the govt will do a royal commission, so just know they Zionists etc will now shift to "we don't like the terms of reference" "we don't like the the commissioner".

The entire point of the calls for the RC was not to get one, but to be able to complain and attack the govt.

v informative but the opening premise is that “public anger” is driving these calls. It is in fact a tiny elite of vested interests.

Now the Lobby is demanding Albo appoints an Israel flunky to head up the RC (and terms of ref which don't include the main cause of antisemitism ... Israel)

The campaign has seamlessly pivoted from demanding the royal commission to demanding the right to handpick the commissioner, next will be the demand to dictate the terms of reference.
Despite everything we’ve seen over the past two years, this is probably the most shameful episode in Australian media history/ political collusion.

The lead story on the SMH is Albanese’s political opponent, who lost his seat, trying to force the government to back his own pick for a RC. Madness.

We really need a campaign to explain how negative gearing and capital gains work, how much they cost taxpayers and up to date statistics on the amount of properties owned by individuals, trusts etc.
Currently they’re making it easier to blame an immigrant than understand neoliberal taxation policy.
