Hey! Here, have a pinned thread of my writer stuff.

First, my debut poetry collection came out in June. I'm proud of it. Readers have said it's good, so that's cool. You can get it all the usual places—my favorite is asking an indie bookstore to order it for you via Ingram.

My book when it was at Schuler Books in West Bloomfield and it was front facing on a shelf! How cool is that? The cover is green with yellow text and highlights. The publisher, Match Factory Editions, has a house cover style, so all their books have the same clamshell pattern (like a vintage matchbook!) but in different colors. You can see a bit of the books on either side. It was next to Best American Poetry and a biography of Nina Simone, who is probably one of the coolest human beings ever.

I have a cousin who uses ChatGPT a lot, and his son just started university. Very smart kid, surrounded by pre-med students, loves basketball and wants to be a sports therapist. I recently explained to him that using ChatGPT is like working out and taking testosterone. 🧵

Perish and Live Forever
We can't afford the premiums to have our corpses shot into space; we can't scrape enough to freeze ourselves into a new age; we can't pay the subscription to upload our minds into a digital hell; we can't clear the check on nanites that perpetually repair our cells.
So, we'll keep on dying the way we always have, and our bodies will rot the way they always have, and our bones will corrode the way they always have, and we'll nourish the Earth the way we always have.

If you are also stressed out and filled with rage, please remember to eat a high protein meal to avoid stomach pains and headaches due to hunger and dehydration. And there is no shame in heating up canned soup or microwave meals when your executive function is low.
