Hall is spot on about the decline in the journalism sector, but he excuses Nuzzi throughout, as if she had no agency in her actions, as if she was lured, unwittingly, into unethical behaviour.

It’s a slap in the face to all the ethical reporters out there - and, cynical or not, there are many.
