The pic on the left here looks like Portland gas aka Fed gas to me.

Portland gas can burn through even the best filters in 20 minutes, and can be absorbed through the skin. Get away from it as soon as you can. It's more toxic than regular white/clear smoke gas (CN/CS/OC/CR).

I can't speak for what was said at the protests, but seeing people react to an anodyne statement like "sacred spaces should not be used to promote activities in violation of international law" as if it were a vicious slur is clarifying.
Zohran Mamdani chastised a Manhattan synagogue that hosted an event promoting migration to Israel and settlements in occupied territories. His stance further tested his strained relationship with pro-Israel Jews in New York.

People were gaining a language, sense of history and set of conceptual tools that delegitimised both white supremacy *and the wider systems of capitalism and colonialism-imperialism* that it's bound up with.

The 2020 racial reckoning threatened the legitimacy of *the entire social order*.

Why is it so hard for this man to admit that he got it colossally wrong by putting partisan politics ahead of science, medicine and the health and safety of the people of this country?

Politicians would earn so much more respect if more would openly admit when they get things disastrously wrong.
