new zangief costume is technically impressive but also a very joyless sort of mech design. Also he's the only male character with 'jiggle physics' that even approach those of the women characters from a distance, sad they'd remove that in favour of artstation robo-flexing!!!

I don't know how this sort of thing works so it could be accurate, but it was amusing how it took one night for them to seemingly skin a bear and transform its hide into tanned and well-stitched winter clothing which they were suddenly wearing.

Trying to think what other comics belong to this category… Phil Tippett’s MAD GOD also comes to mind. I guess the best criteria is “light on plot specifics, light on words, heavy on vibes, heaviest on Creatures”

yeah, I sort of dimly remember music swelling up in some of the battles but nothing that stood out as anything other than ambient. Certainly nothing like what's on the soundtracks! Guess I should be wearing gamer headphones.

Going to work in photoshop to the Dark Souls 2 soundtrack, one of the many fromsoft OSTs that are brand new to me as I never hear them when playing the actual games, perhaps down to the sound mix/tv speakers combination
