Been bringing my own koozie to shows for awhile now. Major quality of life improvement.
Thinking about the other week at the bears game where a very big Chicago man brought his own koozie for his beers. I said to him “wow. It never occurred to me to do that” and he looked me dead in the eye and very seriously said “this ain’t my first rodeo.”

The people whose stated animating force was “grooming children” are hard at work trying to penalize states who take steps to keep this from happening

And how much Transportation is hidden in the other categories? What portion of Housing costs is the garage under your apartment building? What portion of Food is the sea of parking surrounding the supermarket? What portion of Healthcare is car-related injury and respiratory disease?
Transportation costs are the second largest burden on American family budgets (17%), after housing (33%)!
To address the affordability crisis, we must create cities with abundant housing of all types (subsidized, social, coop, market rate) and make walking, biking, and taking transit convenient.

You may have seen that 600+ detainees are eligible for release, which is amazing! BUT: you may not know that immigration detainees still have to pay for their freedom-- $1500 bond per person! The Midwest Immigration Bond Fund is raising money to help people get free, please donate: www.mibfc.org

Basically all of my favorite albums have a song that I skip every time.
honestly love when there’s a really bad song on a great album

Truly amazing that any time the democrats have to bite the bullet and do something that ruins countless lives, there's always *just* enough votes to get it done, but if there is a vote on something that would actually improve people's lives, they are always one vote short. Crazy how that happens.

That's great and all but Blake Mills played on Beachwood Sparks' jangle-country all-timer The Tarnished Gold.
Pino Palladino, legendary bass guitarist, has played on iconic albums from Eric Clapton to D'Angelo. Guitarist & producer Blake Mills has performed with Joni Mitchell, Fiona Apple and Dylan. On their new lp,That Wasn't A Dream, they create something completely unique.
