Yesterday the President fell asleep, yet again, during a televised fake Cabinet meeting staged so that each of his courtiers could heap praise on him, praise for which he couldn't stay conscious. He woke up just long enough to spew racism. Why is this not being treated as an emergency? >

Perhaps there is hope? A family member drove home for Thanksgiving. About 180 miles through some very rural areas that are usually teeming with Trump signs and flags. This time---not a one. Are his cult followers finally coming to their senses and abandoning the grifter?

Pete Hegseth is (sadly) Secretary of Defense, regardless of Chump regime's insistence on a different title. But they can't even get that right: his nameplate (a cardboard tent, actually) at the recent cabinet meeting read "Ssecretary of War." It's a regime of incompetence, right down to spelling.

@durbin.senate.gov and @shaheen.senate.gov are both retiring, and both voted in favor of the ridiculous non-deal offered by the Trumpublicans, which contained nothing of substance and nothing that was not on offer before. Both of them squandered our momentum from Election Day and No Kings Day.
