Weed whacked and mowed the asiatic jasmine ground cover (and the insidious Florida botany that lives in the winter, dies back in the summer, and is impossible to get rid of cuz it’s endless tubers). I’m slowly getting the garden beds ready for planting next month. All flowers!

All anyone will remember is the cold 10 days we had this winter & not the consistent 15 to 20 degrees above normal that we’ve had since November. It’s 82 now. Our low is the normal high. Was 78 all December. But do go on about our cold snap. We are baking and we’re proudly, angrily ignorant of it

Just realized last Super Bowl I watched was 1996 with Theresa and other coast guard friends. Don’t plan on watching this one or any future ones. Never got into it. Plus not having a TV makes it easy to not watch anything.

Appears the motor on the outside compressor unit for the air conditioning is feeling poorly. I tried to fix it by reading a short story to it. When that didn’t work I made it some Sichuan eggplant. I even showed it an orange cat. Nothing. Calling a pro tomorrow. I’m sure it’s cheap…oh god.
