Guy was known to the local police re having mental health issues, fearful of being followed, and they then arrest him with force when he is fearful and doesn't comply with directions.

I repeatedly asked the Federal Government if the UN torture inspectors’ visit was on track and if the they would gain full access to all prisons and watch houses. They said yes when the truth was no. The Commonwealth funds 80% of all NT government, including its brutal jails. Open them.

Finland has the lowest homeless rate in Europe. They designed apartment blocks for the homeless in which rent automatically adjusts to income, with mental-health support, job assistance & social workers on site. Stable housing creates a foundation for employment, recovery & long-term independence.

This “deal” is as much about the disposal of the waste as the sale/purchase of subs.

And as usual, the Australian govt, instead of charging for the facility, not only DOESN’T charge, but gives BILLIONS to those creating the waste.
