Piggy bouncing off of this, but I love to utilize TikTok for recipes--especially for something more authentic. Have something sitting in your fridge you need to use up? Just type it in and add the word 'recipe' after. Cooking content is genuinely one of my most favorite, comforting things.
I gave up Googling for recipes over a year ago. I subscribed to a handful of blogs I know consistently have good stuff and few/no ad spam for subscribers, and just use their things only. Or, wild idea, a physical cookbook. It's just impossible to sift through the crap anymore
NEW: AI “recipe slop” is overrunning search and social. Food creators say Google’s AI Overviews and glossy fake food pics are drowning out real, tested recipes — collapsing traffic and setting home cooks up for disaster, especially this Thanksgiving.
