Here's a preview of a comic I drew for @miaowzine.bsky.social Miaow is a digital charity zine with proceeds going to RAPS Cat Sanctuary, a no kill shelter that provides a home to "unadoptable" cats in British Columbia, Canada.

Hissing is coming from the carrier. Text reads: My partner Fallon adopted Maxwell in 2015. When the shelter found him they initially thought he was ferals.

Panel two: Text continues: But after a few days he began warming up to people. The panel shows Maxwell, a light colored cat with tabby stripes rubs and purrs against the leg of the shelter volunteer. Maxwell looks up with a sweet expression on his face and a halo drawn above him. The volunteer smiles as they write in their notes, "suprisingly friendly for a feral cat."

Panel three: Text reads: At the shelter pick him up and hold him... Panel shows Fallon holding Maxwell inside the shelter with enclosures behind them. Fallon has light colored, short hair and glasses. They awe at Maxwell's cuddliness.

Panel four: Text continues: But once they brought him home they really hated it. Panel shows Fallon holding Maxwell lower to the ground and says, "Wow, you really wanted to get out of there." Maxwell is bug eyed and angrily meowing.

and I'd be posting waaay more comics if they all looked like this

Image is a 4 panel comic for make a terrible comic day. The first panel was me trying to draw myself bending over and I scribbled it out because it wasn't working.
Second Panel: A very scribble drawing of myself yelling, "Fuck I dropped my phone." My phone hits the ground.
Third Panel: I try to bend over to get my phone, making very painful noises as my back makes a "crunch" sound.
Fourth Panel: I bend over at a right angle as my back keeps cracking. I am screaming in pain as my hand finally touches my phone.
