in today's suspicious numbers, explain to me why does the rare DFC cycle appears twice as often as it should be, why does the two mythic DFCs appear half as often, and are the shock lands really 3 times rarer than they should have been?

i've been thinking about how magic could never, ever be founded post-2005ish, that it had to be made exactly before the internet but grow and flourish through it, and its main logistical drawback (physical cards) will become its most enduring quality against an increasingly ephemeral digital era.

you don't know how good scryfall is until you go to some other card databases of some other card games and they just can't let you have a table like this.
