I watched Jack Garfein's Something Wild (1961) yesterday which is quite remarkable (for the 1st hour, at least). Here's a snippet of Saul Bass' title sequence. Cinematography by Eugen Shüftan who got his start in Germany in the 1920s creating optical FX, most notable for Fritz Lang's Metropolis
