this does not make sense to me because "assignment" being limited to "surgical assignment" feels artificially limiting. i thought the act of sexing fetuses and babies is also an act of gender/sex (the same thing for this purpose, boy = male etc.) assignment? /genq
agab/afab/amab only applies to intersex people, not trans people. if you did not get gender assignment surgery at birth due to ambiguous genitalia you weren’t “assigned” your gender at all actually. so let’s stop speaking over intersex people, k? 💋💅🏽
