Bad news. Word is the crypto bill is coming back. Some senate Dems - Warner, Gallego, & Gillibrand among others - are teaming up with the GOP to overcome the filibuster. Here's Gallego last week saying they won't try to stop Trump's crypto bribes because Republicans oppose that provision. Pathetic.

The number of assaults on law enforcement in ONE DAY on January 6th is higher than the number of assaults on ICE officers over a decade.
In 2018, the DHS OIG published the following statistics for assaults against ICE enforcement and removal operations which were considered serious enough to merit criminal prosecution.
Over a four year period, Fiscal Years 2014-2017, that amounted to 28 cases charged in federal court. Total.

Vance is a genuine asshole, but I think he also sees assholery as a part of a winning political persona. What he misses is that lots of people see Trump as a *fun* asshole and that's why they like his schtick. But there's nothing fun about JD Vance and never will be.
