Decided to play around and COLOR that Galvatron piece I drew for fun yesterday. Specifically, he's colored in a style and palette reminiscent of the classic Marvel comics, as I loved those.

Full-time: #AVFC 2-1 Manchester United

One home defeat in 2025. Long-range strikes. Big saves. Regular rallies. Third in the league. Three points off the top. Some ghosts against United banished. Morgan Rogers.

Right, she may have played for Birmingham City (and sadly not Aston Villa) but can you all vote for Karen Carney this evening on #strictly.

Not least because she has the most beautiful Brummie accent, and she is an absolute star and deserves to win outright.

The Employment Rights Bill has passed. This is about good work for the many not the few:
- Exploitative zero hours contracts banned
- Sick pay extended to low earners
- Notice of shifts
- Family leave strengthened

This year - one of both mat leave and reporting travels around the country - I've found an alternative story to the "Broken Britain" narrative.

My column for the @newstatesman1913.bsky.social Christmas issue:
I was wrong about Broken Britain
The country can feel divided and lost, but there’s always another side to the story

Telegraph headline: Employment slumps to 14-year low
Reality: employment today is 75% vs 70.3% in 2011

Maybe it's the fact I posted this by accident at midnight. Maybe it's the big USA on his chest. Maybe it's because I forgot to post the link on Bluesky. Who can say why this video is eating shit?

But I think you can find it in your heart to support one of Youtube's best (me).

This is my favourite way to buy books. I usually don't really know what I want until I see it.
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.
