Whenever you hear a Trumper say that antifa are terrorists, ask them if they support fascism. Even if they do, they will say no because fascism is bad.

And when they say no, tell them that they are members of antifa and you will be reporting them to the FBI for terrorism.

On Wednesday, the Trump administration held a public roundtable discussion in which they claimed that antifascists oppose them and will be killed by them because of that-- a claim they made while sending troops to Dem-run cities.

But they don't call themselves fascists because that's bad PR.

The most likely explanation is that the incumbent was voted out because voters didn't like what he did, but sure, dude, it's the state Dem party that did it.

Incumbent white male Republican loses mayoral election in right-wing town. He lost gracefully... ish.

He credits the state Dem party for pushing the Dem candidate statewide, even though people statewide couldn't vote.

The most likely explanation is that voters disliked what he did in his term.

ICE arrested people for protesting while open carrying. At least one has been released and his charges dropped because he was licensed to carry and video of the incident showed that he did not assault ICE agents, as alleged.

They've expended the open carry exception from Black people to all Dems.

Yeah, see... the thing is... Trump wasn't acting in an official capacity when he broke the law, but a President breaking the law in his official capacity should be against the law.

No prosecution of Trump was done for any polit8cal reason, and especially not for "revenge."

You’ve gotta be kidding me.

This WaPo editorial presents a misleading revisionist history of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s criminal cases against Trump.

Then it has the gall to compare that to Trump’s overt targeting of his perceived enemies.

Really embarrassing stuff.

But the mere fact that a legal tool might be available does not mean it should be used. The
current rage over Grassley's revelation shows why. Smith showed little restraint in his pursuit of a former president. He charged Trump for official acts he took as president. He sought a gag order to limit Trump's ability to criticize the prosecution. He tried to accelerate the case to try a leading presidential candidate before the 2024 election.

Mayor Bully says the he welcomes the National Guard being sent to Baton Rouge because they will act as a deterrent force and "help with blight" by picking up trash.

THAT IS NOT WHAT THE NATIONAL GUARD IS FOR, NOR IS IT WHY THEY ARE BEING SENT.

The MMR shot is safe and effective, and there is no credible evidence otherwise.

Breaking MMR into three shots means 3x more copays at the doctor’s office, 3x more hours of missed work, 3x more bummed out kiddos, and probably more than 3x as many kids who aren’t fully vaccinated.

What is "plenary authority" and why is it a big deal that Miller said that Trump has it over the national guard?

He then fully stopped talking and just blinked at the camera, as if he realized that he said the quiet part out loud. "Plenary authority" means "complete power over a particular area with no limitayions". It is equivalent to ruling by decree, which us how Mussolini, Stalin or Hitler governed. Having "plenary authority" over the military would mean that Trump can just use the national guard as he pleases, no matter what the courts say. It's a power grab.
