The average age of U.S. homebuyers is now 56, up from 49 last year.

In 1981, the year trickledown economics began, it was 31.

So done with @ABC in everything! News rhetoric is insanity. Nothing really is reported and now Jimmy Kimmel is removed. Amazing network turned to trash because they have to.live on their knees vs standing with backbone.

The amazing thing about brave people speaking out is that it inspires others to do the same by creating a permission structure. Since I published this article 4 hours ago, I've heard from multiple sources confirming what's in it. www.muellershewrote.com/p/the-epstei...

Why is it that dogs feel the need to be "helpful" if you try to do yoga? Is it the down and up "dogs" that peaks their interest? Even if you enter child's pose they seem to still think they're being "helpful". Every dog I've ever had is this way. Not cute in trying to copy poses.

Somewhere in the neighbourhood of 55 Canadians - those that we know about .. are in detention facilities in the US.

The United States is not safe for anyone. The evil and cruelty never end.

I very much doubt that I will ever set foot in the US again in my lifetime.
Canadians in ICE detention centres left in legal limbo as families try to secure release | CBC News
Relatives of Canadians detained by ICE in the U.S. say they're furious and frustrated by the treatment of their loved ones and the battles they're having to fight for even the most basic information.

Okay... we feel like we say this every week but *a lot* of stuff happened. Let's break it down, starting with @brbarrett.bsky.social on why the DOGE takeover is worse than you think... (sorry, but you gotta read this one.)
The DOGE Takeover Is Worse Than You Think
What’s happening to the US government right now is bad. What comes next is worse.

Oh, yes.
I’m somehow on a Heritage Foundation mailing list (😂) and they sent a survey to see what we think of DOGE.

Who wants to offer some m-fing feedback?!?

Chaska, MN Target drive up at 3 pm today 1/30/25. Normally this would be 20 cars deep. #resist

Yes, I purchased $1.69 seasoning (and only that) on drive up today because it's the only store within a 20 mile radius that carries it.

The current movement to ban X links across Reddit is genuinely fascinating, only partly because it's cementing the collective identity of Reddit as progressive (in opposition to its older, earned reputation as a hive of scum and villainy).

It's also about the nature of digital activism!
